Our collaboration with Lean Softworks GmbH, to develop a digital platform for managing our teachers` time credits and deductions, was extremely positive and effective. As there were no comparable standard solutions on the market, the platform was developed from scratch. The team at Lean Softworks took our specific requirements on board and implemented a customized, user-friendly solution that was fully tailored to our needs in a short space of time.

The resulting platform offers us comprehensive functions for the simple and transparent processing of teachers` credits and deductions during the school year. Intelligent import interfaces and an intuitive user interface have enabled us to significantly simplify our processes and make them more efficient.

The application won´t win any design awards, but as we all know, it´s the inner values that count. We were particularly impressed by Lean Softworks` agile and solution-oriented way of working. Our specific requirements were taken seriously at all times, recorded quickly and implemented professionally. The direct exchange and uncomplicated communication contributed significantly to the success of this project.

Labor Veritas AG is a service laboratory and consulting company with around 50 employees. We are ISO 9001- and GMP-certified as well as accredited under ISO 17025. These certifications require us to meet strict standards for documentation and traceability. To digitally capture specific records without being tied to rigid and costly software structures, we sought a flexible and independent solution — and found it in REI3.

REI3 is an open-source platform that meets our needs, particularly our demand for greater flexibility. The platform is modular, portable, and operates without vendor-specific servers. A key advantage is the ability to design, version, and archive applications independently. Each application can be developed further on its own, enabling lean and targeted management of digital processes.

REI3 is especially attractive to us thanks to the following features:

Thanks to REI3, Labor Veritas can now respond to new requirements more quickly and precisely. Internal processes can be efficiently digitized, and onboarding new team members has become easier. The combination of visual design, technical depth, and portable infrastructure makes REI3 a true asset in our daily laboratory and consulting operations.

I had always wanted our company to have a software solution for tracking our cheese batches from start to finish, so we could collect data and analyze them more effectively than with the paper make sheets that we were using.

The system also needed to allow us to fulfill our third-party QA requirements, ie tracing all our ingredients used through our production process and to be able to track which customers bought them. There are of course off-the-shelf ERP products for this, but they are both very expensive for a company our size, and because they need to be one size fits all, they are more awkward than they need to be. In early 2023 I started working on a REI3 app to see if I could accomplish it more effectively.

I cannot believe how successful both the development and the app itself have been. I did all of the simple work myself (with no programming background), and with the help of Gabriel from the Lean Softworks team, have been able to implement our more advanced requirements.

Our app is essentially a custom ERP solution made to fit exactly how our small company makes cheese, and at a significant cost savings compared to even an off-the-shelf SAS model in the short term. The direct cost to develop the entire app was less than a year`s subscription to the most suitable ERP solution I found. It has custom features we could never dream of finding in a one size fits all product, like the ability to graph our PH measurements and temperatures over times, or to track the times and duration that our cheeses are in brine or the time between when they are turned.

I could not be more impressed with REI3, the technical ability of the Lean Softwork`s team, and especially the flexibility and collaborative approach they brought to helping us develop our app. I am already looking forward to adding even more features to our first REI3 app and considering starting on a second.

As an IT and internet service provider in Lower Austria, we place great value on efficient, flexible solutions for our internal processes and customer projects.

Together with Lean Softworks, we have developed with REI3 an application for managing our DNS zone files with a connection to an external API. The entire development process went smoothly — thanks in particular to the excellent cooperation with Mr. Herbert, who is extremely competent and solution-oriented. Our individual requirements were always taken into account, and the result is impressive both technically and economically.

Thanks to the low-code approach, the application is highly adaptable and can be tailored precisely to our internal processes. We are completely satisfied with the product and the collaboration and would like to map further business processes in REI3 in the future – the platform has great potential.
